Labor Day weekend provided the much needed break, a quick respite after the chaotic and hectic first week of school. I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Houston Texas. School here opened a week before Labor Day.

<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">There were several items on my to-do list, and one of which was an artsy clock that I have always wanted to work on:</font></p>
<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">Here is a little piece of CRAFT to share!</font></p>
<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">Materials:<br />
* ¼’ thick wood -available in any craft store  (the shape will depend on your creativity)<br />
* Clock kit –can be found in any craft store<br />
* Paint<br />
* Wood Glue<br />
* Choice of words or photos to decorate the face of your clock</font></p>
<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">*** For this particular piece of art, I printed the words using Arial Black font - size is 135<br />

<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">1.  Paint the pieces of wood</font></p>

<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">2.  Print the words. Cut and paste the words on the surface of the clock.</font></p>

<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">3.  Glue the wood pieces together using wood glue.</font></p>

<p><font face="verdana,geneva" size="2">4.  Drill a hole where you want the hands of your clock to be positioned. Install the clock machine.<br />
